The Shimano Deore front derailleur FD-M5100 is designed for 2x11-speed drivetrains and impresses with its impeccable function. It has been equipped with side-swing construction, which provides greater clearance and more shifting performance with less operating force. FD-M5100 is designed for a large chainring with a maximum of 36 teeth, and the difference between the chainrings can be up to 10 teeth. A conventional chainline of 48.8 mm as well as a chainline 3 mm further out are possible. The front derailleur can be attached to the bottom bracket (E-Type), directly to the frame (direct mount) or also with a medium height clamp (mid clamp).
